On 2026-05-11 the Android v4.9 silent-ring rate (issue code S01 — calls that never rang the callee device) climbed +1.80pp from the 5/8 baseline (17.26% → 19.06%). The spike was observed across all 11 monitored countries on the same day, and the same shape appeared in Android v4.8. Paired-call volume on v4.9 was flat over the window.

• v4.9 cohort size: flat at ~10.4M paired calls / day across 5/8 → 5/12.
• Largest country deltas: JO +3.53pp, PK +3.43pp, EG +2.29pp.
• Spike shape: gradual climb to 5/11 peak, partial fallback on 5/12 (5/12 still loading).
